The Harvard Film Archive Promotional Materials Collection consists of pressbooks, one-sheet promotional documents, film stills, posters, lobby cards, slides, and electronic materials promoting 603 different films produced between 1915 and 2007. Dating from approximately 1925 to 2007, the collection includes materials publicizing both premieres and theatrical re-releases. The promotional materials are in English and are targeted for the use of theaters in the United States, although a large number of international films are represented.
