SAFTEY REQUIREMENTS FOR HARVARD FILM ARCHIVE VISITORS
By attending a screening at the HFA, you agree to follow these health and safety guidelines:
Masks are recommended for all visitors at all times indoors, with the exception of those two years old or younger. Masks are available at the box office for those who need them.
All visitors to the Harvard Film Archive age twelve or older are required to present proof of full COVID-19 vaccination or negative PCR test, along with a photo ID for those age seventeen and older. Vaccination documentation must reflect that visitors are fully vaccinated, having received the final dose of their primary vaccination course at least two weeks prior to the day of their visit. Visitors will also be required to present documentation that they have received a booster dose, if eligible. Visitors may be asked to show proof of vaccination on subsequent visits and should bring vaccination documentation with every visit to the Harvard Film Archive.
Acceptable proof of vaccination includes a CDC vaccination card, a photo or photocopy of the card, or a digital vaccine record. International visitors may provide an official immunization record from outside the U.S. All vaccines authorized by the Food & Drug Administration (FDA) or the World Health Organization (WHO) will meet the HFA’s vaccine requirement.
Patrons may also present proof of a negative PCR test taken within the past 72 hours.
All visitors are asked to practice preventive hygiene and urged not to attend events if feeling ill or exhibiting Covid symptoms.
The HFA policy forbidding eating and drinking in the theater remains in place.
ENHANCED HEALTH AND SAFETY MEASURES
The Carpenter Center’s air filtration system has been upgraded with Merv 13 filters and the staff have implemented enhanced and more frequent cleaning and sanitizing of high-touch surfaces and restrooms.
We will continue to assess and adjust our health and safety protocols as guidelines evolve. Please check back regularly for the most updated information about visiting the Harvard Film Archive.
